Ciceros’ Moving and Storage has been in business for more than three generations. Cicero Riggins began his moving business in 1972, when he purchased two moving trucks from a fellow business owner. Cicero was running a successful business as a barber, but saw this as an opportunity to branch out in a new direction and help his fellow community members. Ciceros’ Moving and Storage has grown from those first two trucks and an office on Mulberry Street in Downtown Macon, to the national and international moving company it is today.

Although the company has grown, it has stayed under continual family ownership and management. Bruce, Ciceros’ son is the current owner and manager. He and his wife Lisa work as a team to deliver the best moving services, staff, and pricing possible. Their oldest child, Nicholas, will soon be joining the family business after college.

The catalyst for the ongoing success of Ciceros’ Moving and Storage is the conscious effort to stay true to the principals that Cicero Riggins began with – helping the community by treating them as if they were family, both in the service and the price they received.
