We’re proud to be part of Chief Industries, Inc., a family-owned group of companies whose diverse products and services are used in agriculture, commercial construction, structural steel, factory-built housing, and ethanol production businesses, as well as in the transportation industry. Founded by Virgil Eihusen, our parent company has served the needs of U. S. businesses since 1954. Chief has a skilled workforce of approximately 1,200, and is still run by his grandson, DJ Eihusen, today.

Chief Industries is Three Generations Strong
As a subsidiary of Chief Industries, Chief Carriers, got its start in 1973, originally as a private flatbed fleet of Chief Industries. By 1986 we had grown and obtained our own contract carrier authority. Today, we supply dependable transportation solutions to 48 contiguous states and Canada, primarily hauling flatbed loads of steel and building material, with some stepdeck shipments, too.
