Joseph Caronna grew up in Windsor Locks Connecticut. Driven to provide good services to people Joe had multiple paper routes, lawn care, and odd jobs growing up. Even at a young age Joe was a person that served others. Working and learning Joe graduated from Windsor Locks High School and continued his education at Asnuntuck Community College and finally graduating from Western New England University with a bachelor’s degree in business.

While going to school and working at his family’s grocery store he also decided to start working at a high end furniture store. Through his experience at the furniture store he learned a lot about what customers want when it came time to move their furniture. Also going out and doing deliveries with the owner he learned the ins and outs of packing, storing, and assembly of high end furniture.

Using his knowledge of high end furniture delivery and the roots of a growing up in a family business Joe decided to take the leap and start his own company. Now with a family of his own now and his drive to make Castle Express Moving a great moving company he has continued to grow in the northern Connecticut and lower Massachusetts area. We have so many word of mouth customers and repeat family’s Joe’s goal to continue with a trustworthy moving company has been successful. Currently his goal is to steadily expand and give customers what they ask for.

Castle Express Piano Moving

If moving a piano is part of your move or you are looking to have it relocated we can help with that. Moving a piano requires special equipment and we have all the right tools to help you.

Once you contact us we will be able to determine how we can help you. There are a few questions that we will generally ask. What type of piano are you moving? Piano’s can vary widely in shape, size, and weight. Second we will generally ask how the access is on both sides of the move. Are there stairs? If so how many? How is the access? Will we have tight corners to work around or a situation that may require extra movers? We need to decide how to best prepare for your piano move.

Once we have the basic information we can give you a firm price for your piano move.

Preparation is the key to success when moving piano’s. We will take the time to assess the situation and find the best route to move the piano. We will also take every precaution to keep your piano safe during transport. You will notice that we take the time to pad the entire piano and bench. With Grand Piano’s and Baby Grand Piano’s we may use up 10 moving blankets to make this happen. We will wrap the cover / lid, the bench, the legs, the entire piano and sometime twice to be sure nothing can happen.

Are you going to be experiencing a double closing with overnight storage?

This can be the most stressful type of move and you have a ton going on already. We recommend planning ahead to help you avoid stress. We specialize in guiding the moving process and making sure that it does not become stressful. Since the closing times are rarely known ahead of time then flexibility is a must.

We often recommend with double closing with overnight storage doing the move over the course of two days. Making plans for a place to stay overnight can help avoid any unknown interruptions that can happen. This also gives you a chance to clean up and touch up any areas of the house before the new buyers walk through.

Once your double closing with overnight storage happens the next day we show up with the truck ready to unload and put everything exactly where you want.
