Cascade Energy Services LP

In December 1997 we began operations as Cascade Steaming Ltd. with one steam truck in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Since that time, we have continued to grow.

2004 – May 2006 – Acquired by Avenir Diversified Income Trust and became Cascade Services Partnership. Acquisition of D&G Oil and Gas in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Avenir Diversified Income Trust spins out Cascade and other service companies under new entity, Essential Energy Services Trust.

2008 – Essential Energy Services Trust sells Transportation Division to the Mullen Group Assets including Cascade Services Partnership and JaCar Energy Services collectively operating under new entity Cascade Energy Services LP. Jacar is comprised of JaCar Hot Oil Service Ltd., A&B Hot Oil, Blue Vac and Richmound Energy Services. JaCar is a well-known and widely respected company in southern Alberta and southeastern Saskatchewan. This strategic combination provides operational synergies and a full range of truck based services between Cascade in the north and JaCar in the south.

2009 – Tank truck division of Mullen’s Formula Powell division comes under management of Cascade Services. Acquisitions of Blackwater Oil and Gas and Durango Oilfield Services. Blackwater was integrated into Cascade Services adding a new base of operations in Tumbler Ridge, BC. Durango becomes the 3rd operating division of Cascade Energy Services LP operating in Hudson’s Hope, BC.

2010 – Acquisition of Radium Solutions. Radium integrated into Cascade Services’ Grande Prairie branch. Radium started operations in 2004 as a family oriented business, locally owned and operated.

2012 – Cascade Energy Services continues to increase its fleet size with the addition of new frac corrals in May 2012. The move towards this design helps customers better manage their overall cost of drilling and well completion reducing the environmental footprint on lease sites. Durango Oilfield Services is integrated in the Cascade Services operating division. Acquisition of Bernie’s Hot Oil Services in June. Bernie’s integrated into Cascade Services adding a new base of operations in Swan Hills, AB. Bernie’s started operations as a family owned business, locally owned and operated.

The business and assets of AECOM’s Canadian Industrial Services Division were acquired by Mullen Group Ltd. and integrated into the operations of Cascade Energy Services L.P., E-Can Oilfield Services L.P. and Heavy Crude Hauling L.P., which are also Business Units of Mullen Group. Specialized industrial cleaning and complementary assets are rolled into Cascade, allowing for expansion of vac, pressure, and tanker services.

Present – Today Cascade Energy Services LP operates over 300 units in Grande Prairie, Ft. Saskatchewan, Ft. McMurray, Brooks, Pincher Creek, Taber and Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Our tank trucks can be used for several applications, and they are compatible with all dangerous goods, mix and water. As we have several types of trailers for both vac usage and fluid hauling, we offer transportation of most fluids in the industry.

Cascade Energy Industrial Service Division delivers Oilfield and Industrial cleaning services through several of our operating centers. CESLP employees who work in this sector receive comprehensive training, safety, and are accredited in High Pressure and Vacuum services in accordance with industry standards and guidelines. Our trucks are operated by professionally trained and skilled operators and are equipped with GPS units, which have ELD programming. These units have the capability to send and receive messages and transmit the location of the vehicle, which provides an effective means of communication between the worker and dispatch and between the worker and our customers.
