Locally owned and operated, Brett & Son has been delivering parcels and servicing all of Central Washington since 1978. Our drivers are dedicated to exceeding expectations and earning your trust in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Our business is built on servicing yours!
Once upon a time, our forefathers noticed a need for a local same-day parcel delivery service and thought “we can do that!”. We’ve grown from one man and a station-wagon making local “in town” deliveries, to a staff of 17 drivers, 19 rigs and covering over 600,000 miles per year.
It’s a simple premise: Exceeding Expectations. We know that without our customers, without the businesses we support, we wouldn’t be here. Therefore, we welcome feedback… comments, positive or negative are appreciated. We want to know: what are your transport needs? if your business is growing, we want to help facilitate that growth.

Rural route and County Road addresses may be outside Service Area.
Additional Charges:
$2.60 per week pick-up/handling charge.
$5.50 C.O.D. charge.
$5.00 Additional charge for residential delivery.
Residential Delivery is delivery to a home, which includes a business operated out of a home.
40 pound minimum charge for packages over 80″ length and girth.
Insurance:
Insured packages must be pre-paid.
$0.50 per $100 declared value over $100.
$2.00 per $100 declared value over $1,000, $5,000 maximum.
Maximum Carrier Liability $5,000 per shipment.
Weight & Size Restrictions: Package weight limit 100 pounds.
Package size limit 134″ length & girth.
Combined weight limit 500 pounds.
Freight collect to anyone without Brett & Son account will be handled as C.O.D.
Brett & Son Liability:
For uninsured packages is limited to $100.
Brett & Son Shall Not Be Liable For: Consequential Damages, including but not limited to loss of profits or income.
Definitions:
Priority Same Day: Delivered by 5:00 PM or close of Business Day or Additional Charges will be waived. See restrictions.
Priority Same Day Restrictions:
1. Packages must be received on regular pickup route.
2. Restricted to Commercial Areas.
3. Not Available to and from all areas.

Should I have the mover come to my home to look at my goods?
You have the right to receive an estimate based on a physical (in-house) survey of your
shipment. Under the regulations, your mover must base your estimate (either binding,
non-binding, or not-to-exceed), on a physical survey of the household goods to be moved if
the goods are located with a 50-mile radius of your mover’s (or his agent’s) place of business.
You may elect to waive this requirement for a physical survey, but if you elect to do so,
you must sign a written waiver of your rights.
Is it a good idea to get an estimate over the phone or via the Internet?
In all likelihood, you will find that an on-site estimate based on a physical survey
of the items that you plan on moving will be more accurate than an estimate that you
provide to your mover over the telephone or the Internet. So, unless circumstances warrant
(normally due to the time constraints of a short-notice move or because you are only shipping
a few items) think carefully before you elect to waive the required physical survey
of your shipment.
