Blackwell Building Movers | Serving the North Okanagan & Beyond
The charm and character of older houses is not something that can be easily recreated—and with building costs continually rising while quality seems to be declining, moving or raising your beloved home could be an ideal alternative to buying new. At Blackwell Building Movers, we can lift, level or relocate buildings of all shapes and sizes, serving throughout the Cariboo, Kootenays and Thompson Okanagan regions.

The Economical, Environmentally Friendly Option
————————————————————————
Whether you are looking to preserve a heritage home or just scored the perfect lot, there are plenty of reasons why relocating a building is a great economical idea. What’s more, the house moving industry also saves millions of tons of debris from ending up in our landfills by preventing the demolition of buildings still in good condition.

More Space for Greater Peace of Mind
——————————————————
Considering an addition to your house? One effective way to double the square footage of your home would be to raise it to create a new basement or even just to increase the height of your existing basement. This way you won’t be taking away from your yard space. Raising your house can also help protect against flood damage and you may even save on insurance premiums!

There are different kinds of services you can expect from planning your move and packing your
belongings to transportation and unloading the items to your new home.
If you have some special requirements or you need some special services, get in touch with
your mover and discuss all the details.
Local (intrastate) moves are generally based on a per-hour cost for the personnel and
the number of vehicles that the mover provides (up to a certain distance, with longer
distances based on the weight of your shipment and the mileage it is transported) and the
level of liability that the mover will cover in the event of loss or damage is generally
less than would apply for an interstate move.
