Meet The Owner:
Welcome to Big Tex Moving! My name is Andy Montgomery, and I am the Owner/Managing Partner of Big Tex Moving, LLC.
Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, I’ve worked with several moving companies since graduating from the University of Kentucky in 2010 with my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.

While in school I worked for Wildcat Moving, a moving company in Lexington, KY. It was at Wildcat Moving where I learned the ins-and-outs of the moving industry and helped Wildcat become the #1 ranked moving company in Kentucky. I worked in various roles at Wildcat Moving – from Mover to Driver to General Manager – and am here to bring the same hard-working attitude and excellent reputation to the state of Texas with Big Tex Moving.

In addition to providing excellent customer service, we promise to show up to your door on-time and never “milk the clock”. We charge by the minute and refuse to round up in 15 minute increments to give you the most affordable and family-friendly move as possible.
