We’ve been doing this since 1936 and we’re proud to still be doing it right. Bekins Moving Solutions owns and operates 15 physical branches in strategic locations throughout the U.S., along with the cooperation of over 300 Bekins and Wheaton agents.
RESIDENTIAL MOVING
Bekins Moving Solutions provides custom move packages for every one of our residential moving customers. What does that mean? It means you are in control of every aspect of your move. Unlike other moving companies that provide set, cookie-cutter solutions, we put you in control. From packing and loading, to storage and delivery, you get to make the decisions about what services you need and how much of them you need. This results in a custom, stress free move where you never pay for services you don’t want to use.
STORAGE SERVICES
Storage with Bekins Moving Solutions is significantly more economical than placing your stuff in a smelly, insect infested mini-storage unit. Most of our storage customers tell us we are half the cost as a mini-storage with twice the service. Our process is simple
We load your stuff up (yes, we do the heavy lifting)
We store your stuff in special “Vaults”
We deliver your stuff when you are ready
OFFICE MOVING
Bekins Moving Solutions understands that relocating your office goes well beyond just moving “stuff”. Our overall goal is to get you back up and running with as little down time and interruption as possible. Let us do the heavy lifting so you can concentrate on business.
LONG DISTANCE MOVING
Bekins Moving Solutions is the largest agent of Bekins Van Lines. Through our partnership with Bekins, we are able to provide our high quality moving solutions across the country. Their network of agents allows us to move anyone from one of our service areas to anywhere else in the world.
All loose items must be packed in boxes to prevent loss or damage while moving. It is
recommended that you pack all items and leave the drawers empty.
Items of extraordinary value such as jewelry, money, antiques, and stamp collections
can be included in your shipment, provided that you notify your local moving representative
of these items before packing and moving day. It is strongly recommended that you carry
irreplaceable and expensive articles with you, or make alternate arrangements for their
transport.
In the moving industry, items worth more than $100 per pound are considered to be articles
of "extraordinary value.” To be assured that a claim involving these articles is not limited
to minimal liability, complete and sign your mover's high-value inventory form.
Also, be sure to sign the "Extraordinary Value Article Declaration" box, if applicable, on
your Bill of Lading.
Each mover has a slightly different procedure to follow as it relates to high-value items.
Ask your relocation specialist to provide you with an explanation of their company's process.
This is a confusing (but important) task, so be sure that you clearly understand the rules
prior to load day.
