Bagby Transfer & Storage is NW Georgia’s leading moving company since 1932. Bagby Transfer is a locally owned moving and storage company located in Rome, Georgia. We have completed moves in all of the 48 continental United States and several international countries as well.

Bagby Transfer is fully licensed and legal to operate as regulated by the Georgia Department of Public Safety. We are one of the few certified ProMovers designated by the American Moving & Storage Association.

Local Residential Moves

Bagby Transfer has been moving families locally since 1932. All local moves are done on a hourly rate depending on how many movers that we need to complete the move.

We have our customers fill out a “report card” at the end of the move and our movers are paid by the company based on how well they are scored giving our movers a ton of incentive to make sure our customers are completely satisfied.

Long Distance Residential Moves

Bagby Transfer has been moving families throughout Georgia and across the United States for over 85 years. All long distance moves are based on the weight of the items being moved and the distance traveled plus any packing of the boxes, if needed.

Bagby Transfer will send out a sales representative to do a free estimate for your move. You will also receive an itemized inventory of your possessions, all at no charge.
