We offer packing services with our well-experienced staff that will ensure that fragile items, family heirlooms, and valuable belongings are effectively wrapped & protected. We use high quality, sturdy boxes and packing materials.

Furniture is carefully wrapped prior to moving to avert any damage when moving and transporting your goods to your new location.

We offer storage, both short and long-term at reasonable rates. You will have complete access to your belongings while they are in our facility.

We move specialty items from pianos to safes to hot tubs. No job is too large or too small for Astro Moving.

Astro moving is a family owned business that has been serving the community since 1993. Our two owners, Tom Moores and Steve Leschinsky, have extensive backgrounds in the moving and small business industry. Tom has run several successful small businesses prior to Astro Moving. Steve is a second generation moving expert whose father was one of the first drivers for West End Moving and storage in the 1950’s. Their combined skill and knowledge make Astro Moving an excellent choice for any move large or small.

Astro Moving specializes in residential moving in Connecticut. Astro has also found a niche servicing long distance moves within 500 miles from our office. We also make 6-12 Florida trips per year which includes points in between. We also deal with office and commercial moving. The biggest difference between Astro and other companies is our movers. They are fine family men who have been with the company between 5-15 years. We offer great customer service and competitive rates.

Astro Moving owns a 24,000 square foot warehouse with storage for our customers. We can complete up to 4 individual moves per day. We employ diligent, experienced movers, own 5 trucks, and have access to additional trucks during busy times. We do not overbook, and have never cancelled a scheduled move! Reliability and quality are our top priorities.
