When we started Amigo Moving nearly 13 years ago, we were just two men and a truck. We had just one moving truck and our workers did a lot of heavy lifting. We were a small local mover and things were great and business was good. But after a while we got busier and as our customer base grew, we bought several big trucks and hired crews of full time professional moving men and women. Now we have dozens of trucks working in various cities in Ontario.
As time goes on, in addition to our moving business, we have found that many of our customers needed safe, clean and inexpensive storage options. That’s why we partnered with mini self storage companies who we can rely on.

What do I do with my animals?
You want to make sure animals are in their cat/dog carrier prior to the movers arriving.
Animals are curious and can get underfoot. If your dog isn’t good around strangers please
have them tied up or in their carrier. The moving company cannot transport any live animal
no dogs, cats, fish or reptiles are allowed in the truck.
What do I do with my children on moving day?
If you have young children it is a good idea to do the move while they are in school or
daycare. You will be busy with the movers and it will be difficult for you to give your
child the attention he/she needs. It’s a much less stressful day for you if you children
are not home on moving day.
