Al’s Moving Service (AMS) originated as a Furniture Store in Lake Havasu in the late 1960’s. Al and Mary Perez bought a moving truck delivering mattresses, furniture and other store items and In 1970, Als Moving Service began as a household mover. They quickly grew from one truck to several which continued until the death of Al Perez in 2002. The business was then sold to Larry and Donna Lambert who continue to operate the business. During that time, Als Moving Service purchased a 7500 sq./ft. warehouse and several newer trucks updating its equipment to insure the safe storage and transportation of its clients belongings.

In 2008, Als Moving became an agent for National Van Lines the quality leader in the Moving Industry. This allowed Als Moving the ability to move World Wide and have the backing and support of a quality company which was founded in 1929.

The Department of Transportation requires a truck be inspected 1 time per year meeting certain safety criteria – being a part of National Van Lines that requirement is 2 times per year giving our clients a better chance of having their belongings arrive safely.

We offer a broad range of moving services including:

• Free Written Estimates – We come to you 6 days a week, during the day or evening, whenever is easiest for you. Our written estimate will outline all the costs associated with your move.

• Packing and Boxes – We offer full packing services as well as a range of packing materials including boxes, paper, tape, and bubble wrap. Many customers decide to pack themselves, and we happily coach you on how to do that for no extra charge. If you’d like our help packing, we can provide a very reasonable quote for you.

• Pack/Unpack – Load or Unload your boxes, your truck or trailer • Provide Warehouse Storage – water cooled • Portable Storage – Trailer or Truck • Full Supply of Packaging materials – free delivery with booked orders or 100 dollars purchased. • Crating Service • Dock Service – Local Receiving and Delivery – Forklift available • Piano and Safes • Full Service Moves – Local and Long Distance
