Industry Best Practices

We soft-pad wrap all wood and finished surfaces—in the house—before they go on the truck.
We shrink wrap all the upholstery
We roll and shrink wrap all rugs—never fold them.
We use floor runner and door jam protection.
Mirror packs, mattress cartons or bags, and wardrobe cartons available
Cell-Pack System for dishes, glassware, pictures, and collectibles

Local and Long-distance Moves
Local
Local moves include those that are in-house, next-door, cross-town, or cross-state—or any moves outside of Massachusetts that are within 150 miles of the origin address.

Charges are based on an hourly rate.
There is a 2 ½-hour minimum.
Ask us about retiree, veteran, and off-season discounts.
Packing or storage are extra.
Ask us about second shift and weekend service.

Long-distance
Long-distance moves include moves that go beyond 150 miles of the origin address, outside the state of Massachusetts. Charges are a function of weight, distance and associated expenses.

Packing Options

White Glove Service: We come in and do it all. Every room is organized, boxed, and the boxes are labeled for proper placement at the destination.
Split-Pack: We do the kitchen and dining room, perhaps the pictures and lamps, too, and you do the rest. We load it all on the truck and deliver it.
Self-Pack: We can give you some guidance and provide the packing materials—but really what you want is to save a few bucks and for us to just pick it up and move it.
Specialty Packing for the Items that Matter: We pack your antiques, chandeliers, clocks, precious collections of glass, crystal, china, silver, artwork, pictures or mirrors, etc. We Cell-Pack dishes, glassware, pictures, and collectibles. In addition, we provide mattress cartons or bags and wardrobe cartons.

Pianos
Spinets, uprights, baby grands and grands—let us know what you’ve got. We’ll bring the proper equipment and get the job done.

Labor
If you need to move items around the house or you need to load or unload a truck, trailer, or pod, we have the laborers. Give us a call!
