Alberta Top Notch Movers is a reputable moving company based in Edmonton, founded by Dale B. in the summer of 2007. Dale began his journey in the moving industry by contracting for a larger company but soon realized he disagreed with their policies and practices. As a result, he decided to start his own moving company and began booking his own moves under the name Alberta Top Notch Movers.

Starting with just Dale and one full-time helper, and one part-time helper, they quickly gained recognition for their quality work. However, by 2012, they realized they were turning away a significant amount of work, including out-of-town and out-of-province moves. This led them to purchase a new, larger thirty-foot truck.

Operating with two trucks for one year, they still found themselves turning away work, leading them to purchase their third truck and, a year later, their fourth truck. With their expanded fleet, they could offer moving services to and from locations ranging from Winnipeg, MN, to Victoria, BC.

Alberta Top Notch Movers currently operates four trucks year-round, with an additional seasonal truck in the summer months. They employ between 12 and 16 employees and plan to expand further in 2023. Throughout their years in business, they have established a reputation for providing high-quality and affordable moving services to clients throughout Alberta and beyond. PERSONAL BIO
Dale is a seasoned entrepreneur with a diverse work background. He was born and raised on a family farm in southern Manitoba before venturing to Grande P., AB, in the early 80s to work on a major pipeline project. Following its completion, he moved to Edson, AB and joined a major pipeline corporation, where he operated heavy equipment and drove trucks hauling equipment all over the province of Alberta.

In 1989, Dale relocated to Edmonton and transitioned into a pipeline control room as a pipeline controller, working in both Edmonton and Calgary over the years. After several years, he left the corporation to start his own landscaping company, which was highly successful. In addition, he started a small restaurant and a couple of other businesses, gaining valuable experience in customer service and the transportation industry.

In 2007, Dale returned to Edmonton and was introduced to the moving industry, which sparked a new business venture for him. He started Alberta Top Notch Movers, which has since become a reputable moving company known for its quality service.

When not running his business, Dale enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also likes to travel and take a break to recharge before the next busy season. With his vast experience and passion for entrepreneurship, Dale continues to grow his business and provide top-notch service to his clients.
