Residential Moving
We can help you do a local move across the street, or a long distance move across the country! We take great pride in helping you get your valuables from one place to the next safely.

For Local Moving (50 mile radius) we offer a very competitive hourly moving rate.

The size of your move will dictate the number of required professional movers necessary and determine the applicable hourly rate. Big or small, local or long distance, residential or commercial, civilian or military – our trained professional staff is fully equipped and ready to help you make the right decisions that will aid you in keeping the overall cost of your move to a minimum.

Long Distance Moving
Long Distance moving rates are all basically similar. However, the range of service will vary depending on your individual moving needs. The cost of a move includes basic transportation charges based on the weight of the shipment and miles traveled. The total cost includes charges for declared valuation above the movers liability, plus charges for extra services such as packing and other accessorial services.

Affiliated will arrange a free in home survey to assist you in determining your moving cost. Once we have scheduled your move with our world class carrier, United Van Lines, our qualified “Move Coordinators” will manage your entire moving process from start to finish.

Packing
It is easy to get confused when it comes to packing. You can do the packing yourself or we can do it for you. Our professional packing crews are trained to properly handle and pack all of your household goods. Here are some options when deciding who will do the packing:

Mover Will Pack Everything – “FULL PACK”
Mover Will Pack Specific Items / Customer Will Pack Specific Items – “PARTIAL PACK”
Customer Will Pack All (Standard Exception; Mattresses) – “NO PACK”

Storage
Many customers may require their household goods or office furnishings to be placed into storage. Types of storage and reasons for storage vary on an individual basis.

Storage in Transit (S.I.T.) – May be needed if you are not ready for delivery of your household goods during the relocation process.
Temporary Storage – May need to store your household goods during a remodel, construction or holiday seasons.
Long Term Storage – Acquired more than you have room for or need to make space in a spare room or garage.
