Navarre Moving Co., Inc. started in 1995 and we are DBA as the Cajun Movers. During our course of business, we have built and sold a storage facility called Cajun Self Storage and will be continuing building new storages in 2023 in the Katy & Rosenberg areas. We specialize in moving homes, apartments and businesses not only locally but also throughout the United States.
We are a family owned and operated business. We have employees that are only employed by us (no temporary or contract labor).We feel our continuing success has been through excellent customer service, hard work and keeping our equipment in perfect working order. With no doubt we feel we are experienced movers!
Moving Services
Cajun Movers (Navarre Moving Inc.) offers moving services, whether it consist of moving the entire contents of the house or just a few rooms; we also offer piece by piece quotes. Rates vary depending on the size of your home. We have various size crews starting with 2 men up to 9 men; we also have several size trucks beginning with a 24 ft. truck on up to a 51 ft. truck.
The 3 hour minimum, plus travel charge is applicable on all hourly rate jobs provided by Cajun Movers. Travel charges are based on the location of your home.
What do I do with my children on moving day?
If you have young children it is a good idea to do the move while they are in school or
daycare. You will be busy with the movers and it will be difficult for you to give your
child the attention he/she needs. It’s a much less stressful day for you if you children
are not home on moving day.
How long does it take to move?
This depends on many factors, such as the time of year, weather conditions, size of your
shipment, time required to load and unload, and the direction and distance your shipment
is traveling.
Because the furnishings of the average household will not fill a truck, it is often necessary
for two or more shipments to be loaded on the same truck. Each shipment is carefully
sectioned off from the others.
With the help of computer-assisted dispatching system, pickup and delivery dates
are scheduled according to the origins and destinations of individual shipments on the trucks,
as well as shipment weight.
