Go To Moving is a relatively small, family owned moving company operating from Staten Island, NY since 2004. Paul, the founder of the company started working as a mover part-time when he was just 17. By his sophomore year of college, Paul made the decision to start working on his own to help pay his tuition. This is how Go To Moving, formerly Vantruckmove started. Paul along with his father and and a few other moving professionals worked intensely and began to build a following in New York City and particularly in Staten Island. The motto has always been to earn clients by providing our customers with top quality moving service.
By the time Paul graduated college he decided he loves running a business and wants to commit to running Go To Moving full time. He attended transportation training programs and redesigned our paperwork to better protect both our honest customers and the movers. He worked to improve our communication systems and record keeping. We believe the end product which you see today is a moving company offering service of the highest value. We cut costs to save you money where we could: advertising, printing, efficient trucks, website design and paperwork. At the same time we pay our dues where it is in our customers’ and our own best interests: liability insurance, worker’s compensation, safety audits and training.

Office Moving
Whether you have a small home office, you need help moving some of your inventory, or you have a large office that needs everything be done immediately, our experienced movers can get it done.
In all likelihood, you will find that an on-site estimate based on a physical survey
of the items that you plan on moving will be more accurate than an estimate that you
provide to your mover over the telephone or the Internet. So, unless circumstances warrant
(normally due to the time constraints of a short-notice move or because you are only shipping
a few items) think carefully before you elect to waive the required physical survey
of your shipment.
If you are receiving a non-binding estimate, the charges that your mover assesses on your
shipment must be based on the actual weight of the shipment. Your mover may not lawfully
assess transportation charges on shipments with non-binding estimates on cubic feet, volume,
time (hourly) or on any basis other than weight. Also, the federal regulations require that
shipment weights must be determined on a state certified scale with a copy of the weigh
master’s tickets provided to you in support of the final invoice.
