A NEW YORK CITY MOVING COMPANY born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.
After graduating from college amid an economic downturn, Matt supplemented a job in local journalism by becoming a man-with-a-van. The business grew entirely by word of mouth and Matt learned how to be a mover and business owner along the way. Matt fully licensed and incorporated Cool Hand Movers in 2016, building on the track record that he and his teams had already built, but bringing purpose to the business. Today, you won’t see Matt on the crew unless he’s leading a training. But our clients can still count on their Cool Hand Movers to be kind professionals who have received paid training on both moving skills and customer interaction, and who earn an hourly living wage.
