The co-founder of Motherload Transport, Sharon, started in the transportation industry in 1982.
Like many industries, then and now, it was very male dominated. She was told that a woman couldn’t make it in the transportation industry, and she decided to rise to the challenge. It didn’t take long for her to excel, doubling the sales in her territory… and she never looked back!
In 2001 Motherload Transport Service came into being. Sharon and her daughters, Jackie & Erin, took the male dominated industry by storm, moving freight across North America!
Today, we have an amazing team who follow Sharon’s tradition of superb customer service and excellence in operating Motherload Transport.

As a non asset based transportation provider, we have access to over 2,000 carriers both in Canada and the USA.
We source the best priced carrier, with the time frame you require to have your shipment delivered on time and track your cargo during the transit. We provide you with updates on arrivals, pay the carriers, resolve claims and even handle the worry so you don’t have to.
We ship almost anything that you can load onto a truck from shipping containers, lumber, stone, brick, steel, wire, heavy equipment, coils, bulk totes, miscellaneous building materials — just about anything you might want to transport on a flatbed, in a van, or on a specialty truck. What do I do with my animals?
You want to make sure animals are in their cat/dog carrier prior to the movers arriving.
Animals are curious and can get underfoot. If your dog isn’t good around strangers please
have them tied up or in their carrier. The moving company cannot transport any live animal
no dogs, cats, fish or reptiles are allowed in the truck.
What do I do with my children on moving day?
If you have young children it is a good idea to do the move while they are in school or
daycare. You will be busy with the movers and it will be difficult for you to give your
child the attention he/she needs. It’s a much less stressful day for you if you children
are not home on moving day.
