Residential Local and Long Distance Movers
We help Vancouver Islanders move from residence to residence locally, within the Capital Regional District. We also do relocations on Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, Vancouver, and the lower Fraser Valley. Our home office is in Victoria, where most of our moves occur. We use 2 or more person crews and 1 or 5 ton trucks, depending on how much stuff you have. This determines the rate.
Office Moves & Commercial Deliveries
We can move your office from one place to another. Taking apart and putting back together desks, cabinets, etc.
If you are a business, we can help you move inventory from one place/customer to another. Examples being large appliances, office equipment, printers etc.
Secure Long Term Storage
We provide storage services for longer term needs, usually for those people in between houses, waiting to get possession, or still in the market.
Our team will move your stuff in and out of our storage. It is a private warehouse, not self-storage. The first month is free, then billed monthly with a valid credit card on file.
Can I pack anything in the drawers of my dresser or desk?
All loose items must be packed in boxes to prevent loss or damage while moving. It is
recommended that you pack all items and leave the drawers empty.
What should I do with my jewelry and other valuable items?
Items of extraordinary value such as jewelry, money, antiques, and stamp collections
can be included in your shipment, provided that you notify your local moving representative
of these items before packing and moving day. It is strongly recommended that you carry
irreplaceable and expensive articles with you, or make alternate arrangements for their
transport.
In the moving industry, items worth more than $100 per pound are considered to be articles
of "extraordinary value.” To be assured that a claim involving these articles is not limited
to minimal liability, complete and sign your mover's high-value inventory form.
Also, be sure to sign the "Extraordinary Value Article Declaration" box, if applicable, on
your Bill of Lading.
Each mover has a slightly different procedure to follow as it relates to high-value items.
Ask your relocation specialist to provide you with an explanation of their company's process.
This is a confusing (but important) task, so be sure that you clearly understand the rules
prior to load day.
