As mentioned, all vehicles come with dollies, blankets, basic tools and tape. There are extra’s that need to be specified and will cost more.

Long-Distance Moves

Travelling within Canada by road has its own set of problems that come with the time of year and weather. Spring to late Fall is always a better way to do a long-distance move if you have a choice.

For shorter long-distance moves to places like the neighbouring Islands, personalized service with only your load on the truck is often the simpler way to do the move.

There is wear that comes with kilometres on the vehicle. For long-distance moves, there is a $4/km fee for fuel/travel for the larger cubes with power lift, a $3/km fee for the 16′ cube van and $2/km for the 3/4 ton van.
There is a listed straight-time fee from arrival to finish plus the other usual costs.

Moving a commercial space is much the same as moving an apartment or house. We need to know how much help you may need in terms of packing, preparation and packing materials. From here we need to know access. Where are the loading zones, elevators and what is the protocol to pre-book and how much allowable time do we have to do the move.

Knowing how much time we are allowed to do the move out will let us know how well packed and ready to go everything must be. Possibly we need multiple trucks and many extra hands to make sure we get everything out in time.

Like residential moves you can do as much or as little of the preparation as you would like. It is important to let us know if we need any special tools to take different items apart. It may be necessary to do an in person viewing to know exactly what needs to be done to make the move work smoothly.

How much padding, packaging and wrapping that needs to be done will mainly depend on what the business owner wants done and how expensive the items are.

We can also do as much or as little set up as you would like. Like residential moves staging areas can be set up or neoprene runners used as needed.
