Dusty LaValley, CEO
Born and raised in a small agricultural community outside Grande Prairie, AB, Dusty is the epitome of an entrepreneur. He found and built Trusted Dispatch into an international logistics technology company with no technology or business experience. Dusty roughnecked on drilling rigs, logged with a chainsaw, and worked on feedlots—this experience gave him good insight into what the industry needed.

Dusty is also a previous rodeo champion. He captured four Canadian championships in the bareback riding event during his career.

Dusty is passionate about building a team and helping the trucking industry operate more efficiently.

Alex Gierus, CTO
Alex brings creative and original thinking to every venture, and his innovation has played an essential role in the success and growth of Trusted Dispatch. His approach is both systems-focused and people-focused, and he has an aptitude for understanding how to create reciprocal benefits for everyone involved in creating, using, and improving breakthrough technology.

True to his love of science, Alex loves to tinker with robotics, AI, game development, and mobile apps with his family. He also serves on the board of directors of the largest physical science fair in Canada and oversees their IT infrastructure. Alex holds an MBA in Technology Transfer from the University of Alberta and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Calgary.

Luke Sutton, Account Manager
As Trusted Dispatch’s first point of contact for shippers and drivers alike, Luke is a master of creating positive experiences. He keeps everything moving across North America, including drivers and shipments, even when unexpected challenges arise. His background in sales, finance, and customer service means you’ll always get a cool head (and maybe even a few laughs) when you connect with Trusted Dispatch.

Originally from the UK, Luke moved to Canada in 2015 with his family. Since then, he’s been taking every opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, whether he’s hiking or trail running with his dog or heading out for some backwoods camping. Luke’s vision is to help the team continue to make Trusted Dispatch a leader in heavy equipment shipping.
