King’s Transfer Van Lines Calgary is proud to be part of the King’s Transfer Van Lines Group with offices in Calgary, Winnipeg, Burlington, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. The King’s Transfer Group of companies are agents for Atlas Van Lines.

King’s Transfer Van Lines Group is one of Canada’s oldest and most respected moving organizations. The original firm was founded in 1922 by the O’Donnell family. Today, the company’s office in Calgary continues to be owned and managed by members of the O’Donnell family. Together with our team of dedicated staff and service providers, we have grown the company and earned a reputation for high quality service, that is customized to meet the needs of our clients in Calgary and across Canada.

We have also been the mover of choice for many of Canada’s largest corporations. Over the years we have been recognized for outstanding service including being the recipient of a number of Quality Service and Sales Awards from Atlas Van Lines.

Community Involvement
We are proud to be working with Move For Hunger. Move for Hunger is a non-profit organization that works with moving companies across the nation to support the efforts of local food banks.

By teaming up with relocation companies across the country, Move For Hunger is creating one of the nation’s largest year-round service programs. Our movers offer to pick up the unwanted, non-perishable food items from those who are moving and deliver it to their local food banks.

We have perfected our Move Management system to ensure that each relocating employee receives a high degree of customization and personal attention.

Our Moving Process
On every corporate move we perform, an experienced relocation coordinator is assigned as the employee’s single source of communication. We keep our clients well-informed throughout the course of the move. A King’s Transfer coordinator will be in constant contact with the employee (or spouse) to clearly explain the relocation process, and the responsibilities of King’s Transfers’ and the relocating employee.

We always follow-up with a confirmation letter detailing all pertinent details of the move and will provide supplementary information that may be helpful to your employee. The employee’s coordinator will be available via a toll free number or e-mail at all times to answer any questions or alleviate any concerns the transferee may have. Our commitment to the employer and relocating employee is to always be just a phone call away and to provide the answers that will help make the transition a smooth one.

Throughout the years, we have been able to refine and perfect our corporate relocation service through the use of our post move surveys. Post move surveys help us determine the level of customer satisfaction and resolve any issues.

We Make Long Distance Moves Easy
Moving to another part of the country can be a daunting experience. Trust your move to King’s Transfer Calgary. We have been moving people across Canada for over 90 years.

Before you move, we provide you with a free, in-home survey and estimate. The in-home survey determines the weight of your shipment as long distance charges are based on the weight of your shipment and the distance to your new location.

If you have items stored at another location, be sure to let your personal moving consultant know. The moving consultant will explain packing services, replacement value protection for your goods while they are in transit, transit times to your new location and storage options if that is required.

Guaranteed Estimates
Once your moving consultant has met with you, they will provide you with a cost estimate for your move which includes all your requested services. Most moving consultants will provide a guarantee that their estimated weight will not exceed 10% if there are no additional items added to your shipment after the in-home survey was performed.
