Sierra Transport, LLC is a women owned petroleum transport business in Kansas City Missouri. We are both female and family owned and have been in business since 2012 but we have 30 years in experience in the fuel transportation business. We Transport Gasoline, Diesel, Ethanol and Jet fuel to a six state area , Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, and Arkansas.
We are centrally located in the Kansas City Metro area with headquarters in Kansas City Missouri just minutes from downtown KC and would like the opportunity to transport your petroleum products. We have the ability to transport within a 500-mile radius. Here at Sierra Transport we strive for your satisfaction in all aspects of our business. Our experienced well trained employees can handle almost any type of petroleum hauling job quickly, safely and at competitive rates.

What’s the difference between less than truckload and full truckload?
Less than truckload (LTL) shipping allows multiple shippers to share space on the same
truck while full truckload shipments typically travel on only one truck with one destination.
What is an NMFC number?
The National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA) allocates a specific number to each product
that could be shipped. That is the National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) that pairs to the
freight class best suited for the product. It’s important to include the NMFC number on the bill of
lading to reduce chances of reclassification.
