OUR HISTORY
Founded by Ivan L. Morris in 1925, Morris Trucking was developed by hauling farmer’s crops to markets in Detroit, MI, and Chicago, IL. We continued to haul produce for 50 years and gradually shifted into tanker and dry van freight. Our drivers have always been the heart of our business. We have a family of employees that work very hard to ensure all of our customer needs are successfully executed. Our drivers take pride in their profession and hold that honor in high esteem.

We are a dedicated truckload carrier. We haul dry van freight throughout 48 states. Whether you have one skid to ship or 60 skids to ship, give us a call. We can deliver to a 500 miles radius overnight. Our staff has over 100 years of combined experience. Our President, Mike Morris, has been working in this industry for over 50 years. He and his team can service all your shipping needs.

How should I package my items?
When shipping goods, it’s always important to minimize movement. Pack crates or boxes as full
as possible, with heavier items on the bottom. If the crate is not filled, use packing material
to plug the empty spaces.
How are freight shipments tracked?
Freight service providers offer tracking services online to access a shipment’s status 24/7
from your computer or mobile device. You can track a shipment with a BOL number, but you can often
access the shipment’s location with the pro number, PO number, shipment reference number and shipment
number as well.
