A History of Delivering on our Promises
TransX was founded in 1963 by Louie Tolaini. Louie Tolaini’s entrepreneurial journey began in 1959 when he purchased his first truck to service Western Manitoba’s oilfields. Soon he saved enough money to start a business and in 1963 he bought a trucking business to haul general freight and livestock between Virden, Manitoba and Winnipeg, Manitoba – thus TransX was born. His vision was to create a company that would build its success by not just offering superior customer service, but by also by adding and adapting his capabilities and services to the needs of his customers. Thanks to never wavering from that vision, TransX has today become one of the top carriers in North America, and continues to grow and evolve with each passing year. TransX truckload service options include Standard Ground Truckload TM for fast, reliable pick-up and delivery, and Exact Express Truckload TM for guaranteed, time-definite, expedited delivery. Overseas Intermodal
TransX also offers overseas intermodal shipping through ports in Eastern and Western Canada. TransX can also provide seamless order management for shipments requiring stuffing and de-stuffing services for both inbound or outbound overseas shipments.

North American Flat Deck & Drop
Deck Services Tailored to Your Needs

TransX provides flat deck, step deck, and regional Super B Train services through its flat deck specialized transportation division called DeckX Transport. DeckX provides flat deck and step deck services domestically in Canada and internationally between the United States and Canada. In Western Canada, DeckX Transport offers additional regionalized services for many of North America’s largest manufacturers and suppliers. DeckX provides open deck service for the steel, agricultural, oil and gas, construction equipment, construction material, aerospace, and mining industries, as well as many other specialty manufacturing sectors. New to DeckX service offerings is project heavy haul. We handle individual heavy haul shipments or entire project movements including rail heavy haul component and truck road service.
