History of Green Valley Moving
Green Valley Moving began in 2009, born out of a desire to fill a huge need in our
community. Over the years, while working with clients through my second business, Green Valley Auctions

I witnessed the need for another quality local moving company to serve
Harrisonburg, Staunton, Waynesboro and surrounding communities. After many  years of experience moving antiques and household furnishings, it only made sense to branch out and apply these skills to a full-service moving company.

Green Valley Moving has a long history of providing moving services to our neighbors in Staunton, Harrisonburg, Waynesboro, Charlottesville and beyond. We are committed to personal attention throughout your move process and will treat your possessions as our own. Our crews are made up of our own professionally trained full-time movers. We do not hire day laborers nor do we contract out a job to another company. The crew chief who loads your belongings onto our truck will be the same person who arrives at your new home to be in charge of the unloading process. For all of your in-state or out-of-state move needs, we will give you a guaranteed contract price. There will be no hidden charges or nasty surprises when the bill is presented.

Full Service Moving:

Green Valley will handle your move from beginning to end as our staff arrives at your location to pack your items into sturdy cartons and load the items onto the truck. Upon arrival at your new location, the staff will unload your items and ensure everything is where it should be.

We have a lot of experience in loading pods and will work with you to insure your move gets off to the right start. We can also pack and load your items into your choice of personal vehicles to help the process move smoothly.
