In a fascinating coincidence, brothers J.E. “Jim” McConnell and J.W. “Mac” McConnell bought McConnell Brothers Transfer from two other brothers of no relation — J.H. “Jim” McConnell and A.A. “Mac” McConnell in 1961. The two Jims got to know each other over a mail mix up, and years later, the sale of the company to two brothers of the same name seemed a natural.

J.E. “Jim” McConnell’s son, Kyle, took over leadership of the company from his father and has now passed that mantle on to his daughter, Suzy Jordan, and son-in-law, Chad Thomas. McConnell Brothers has been a Mayflower agent for more than 60 years. The company remains focused on the values of integrity, customer satisfaction and good stewardship in their community.
