A History of Success in Moving and Storage
Founded in 1981, Mesa Moving and Storage got its start moving residential and commercial customers in Grand Junction, Colorado. Our mission was simple: provide fast, reliable and affordable moving services with a customer-centric attitude.
At the time we didn’t think what we were doing was revolutionary, but it quickly became apparent that not every moving company maintained the same dedication to quality and customer service as our movers displayed on every job. The result was a rapid growth in demand for our moving services, which led us to expand into Salt Lake City, Utah; Denver, Colorado and Boise, Idaho. In May 2019 Mesa Moving and Storage acquired four United agents which added branch locations in Bozeman, Montana, Helena, Montana, and Whitefish, Montana.
That same dedication to excellence has resulted in our moving company being named one of largest United Van Lines’ agents in the Western United States and one of the top booking and hauling agents of interstate household goods.
As a full-service moving and storage company with exceptional capabilities and skilled, dedicated professionals, Mesa Moving and Storage can handle any move, regardless of the scope. Whether you’re relocating your home or business across town or across the globe, our professionals have every aspect of your move covered.
We specialize in residential and household moves, corporate relocation, office and industrial moves and moving logistics. As a United Van Lines agent, we have more than 800 reputable partners worldwide to assist in providing high-quality moving services.

Items of extraordinary value such as jewelry, money, antiques, and stamp collections
can be included in your shipment, provided that you notify your local moving representative
of these items before packing and moving day. It is strongly recommended that you carry
irreplaceable and expensive articles with you, or make alternate arrangements for their
transport.
In the moving industry, items worth more than $100 per pound are considered to be articles
of "extraordinary value.” To be assured that a claim involving these articles is not limited
to minimal liability, complete and sign your mover's high-value inventory form.
Also, be sure to sign the "Extraordinary Value Article Declaration" box, if applicable, on
your Bill of Lading.
Each mover has a slightly different procedure to follow as it relates to high-value items.
Ask your relocation specialist to provide you with an explanation of their company's process.
This is a confusing (but important) task, so be sure that you clearly understand the rules
prior to load day.
All loose items must be packed in boxes to prevent loss or damage while moving. It is
recommended that you pack all items and leave the drawers empty.
