How It Works
The easiest solution for Bloomington storage and shipping!
Guys and Dollies is proud to be the official storage and shipping service of the Indiana University Residence Hall Association (RHA) since 2008. By working directly with the residence hall directors and staff, we can make sure that all students are prepared, even during the buesiest times of the school year.

*Indiana University Residence Halls allow Guys and Dollies customers to stay in the residence halls an extra two hours on Saturday (until 12:00pm) while waiting for your appointment. Saturday morning is very busy and availability fills up quickly, so make sure to reserve your arrival window soon!

Students have a lot to worry about at the beginning and end of the school year, let us give you everything you’re going to need!

Guys and Dollies is committed to serving only students. By taking this non-traditional approach as a moving company, we are able to design a moving service that works around the needs of students during the most hectic times of the school year, move-out and move-in weeks.

The easiest storage and shipping service in town!

Shipping
Guys and Dollies shipping service is the easiest way to send some or all of your items home from school. Our movers will pick up your shipping directly from your room, handle all the paperwork, and give it directly to our partner, FedEx, so that you don’t have to do anything!

In-Room Pick Up
we offer free, in-room pick up, which means that you don’t have to bring your items anywhere to meet the driver. Skip the long lines and paperwork at a shipping center! Don’t worry about finding the right labels and filling out the weight and girth of your box! Just tell us the address and we’ll take care of everything!

Free supplies, delivered directly to you door!
We want to make sure you and your items are prepared to withstand the challanges of shipping. We work hard to find quality supplies and provide them for free so that we can ensure that your belongings are packed safely. From double-walled, extra-sturdy boxes, to industrial bubble wrap, we will give you all the tools you need to protect your items.

Storage? Shipping? We’re flexible!
We handle both shipping and storage, so feel free to switch items back and forth, even at the very last minute. Sometimes it’s tough to know what you want until you start packing. We can even store your items and ship them later, just let us know how we can help!

Have an odd item? We can custom-pack that for you!
Guys and Dollies can provide packing service for items like TVs, Bicycles, golf clubs, plastic bins and other un-boxed items. Contact your local office for more details!

Moving
For customers who need local moving services, Guys and Dollies can provide move-only service that does not include storage. If you do not see an appointment available through our website, please email your local office. We typically operate every work day during the summer and can create a custom appointment that fits in your schedule.

Unfortunately, We do not provide long-distance moving services cannot make exceptions.

No extra fees!
We try to keep pricing as simple as possible by charging an hourly rate that starts when we arrive and ends when we finish. Unlike typical household mover, we do not charge for mileage or fuel, and our service time does not begin until we arrive on-site at the customer’s location.

Our movers are incentivized to finish your move quickly!
Our truck routes are built to ensure that each move is completed timely fashion. You will not catch our movers endlessly folding moving blankets and sweeping out the truck to extend the time and increase the charged amount.

Don’t have enough room when you move in?
Sometimes when roommates move in together, they have an overwhelming amount of stuff. If everything won’t fit in your new location, you can switch some items to our long-term storage service.

Low-cost, quality supplies, delivered to you!
Guys and Dollies’ moving service provides free delivery of boxes and a large, complimentary supply kit for all orders, to make sure you are completely prepared for your appointment. We have researched and tested packing supplies for more than 15 years to ensure that we are providing our customers with a quality kit. From double-walled, extra-sturdy boxes, to industrial bubble wrap, we will give you all the tools you need to protect your items.

Due to increasing costs, supplies are not free for move-only service, but prices are cheaper than local stores for boxes and bubble wrap. Supplies are still free for storage services.
