Caseboise Moving Company
Boise moving company. Caseboise Moving was created in 2009 to fill a niche in the restoration industry. We quickly expanded to commercial, and residential as well. Senior moving was added to provide assistance to an age group that is near and dear to our hearts. In order to maintain diversification, we added gun safe delivery and moving as a core competency.

Caseboise Moving is a small, locally-owned business. We have lived in the Boise area for 20 plus years. Jeni is a Boise State University graduate, with a degree in Business Management. Michael’s military background helped instill in him an appreciation for hard work. His 20+ experience in the delivery and moving industry and his entrepreneurial spirit gave us the experience and energy to begin our company. Our three children graduated from Capital High School. We value supporting the local community and other local businesses.

We are a family-run business. Michael and Jeni are truly owner-operators. It’s often our cheerful voices you will reach when you call. We are involved in all aspects of our business. We employ several immediate and extended family members, who believe in the same quality standards and business practices. Additional crew members are chosen with care, as we only want the best to represent our business and our family.

Our goal is not to be the biggest or the flashiest moving company but to be the most honest, reliable, hardest working, and to provide the best customer service.

Additional Specialty Services
Caseboise Moving has the expertise to handle all of your special moving needs. We have knowledgeable, careful crews and the specialized equipment and supplies ready to provide our customer’s with unsurpassed personal service. Here are a few of the specialty services we frequently provide:
Packing and Packing Supplies
Caseboise Moving often provides packing services to several local restoration companies. This process includes inventorying, tagging, labeling and photographing, as well as bubble and paper wrapping all boxed household goods. While this level of detail is not typically used for full service household moves, it is available upon request.

At Caseboise Moving, we maintain an inventory of new boxes, in multiple standard sizes, available for sale or rent. We can also provide gently used boxes, available for sale but the supply fluctuates. We can furnish box tape, wrapping paper, bubble and mattress bags. These products are typically delivered to your location and may be picked up at the completion of your move. Please call for current pricing.

Crating and Uncrating
For your valuable possessions, Caseboise Moving will deliver peace of mind by building custom crates. We frequently palletize items purchased at local auction warehouses, to prep to ship to out of state companies. We are available to palletize and install crated items and can provide debris removal.

Q What should I do with my jewelry and other valuable items?

Items of extraordinary value such as jewelry, money, antiques, and stamp collections
can be included in your shipment, provided that you notify your local moving representative
of these items before packing and moving day. It is strongly recommended that you carry
irreplaceable and expensive articles with you, or make alternate arrangements for their
transport.

In the moving industry, items worth more than $100 per pound are considered to be articles
of "extraordinary value.” To be assured that a claim involving these articles is not limited
to minimal liability, complete and sign your mover's high-value inventory form.
Also, be sure to sign the "Extraordinary Value Article Declaration" box, if applicable, on
your Bill of Lading.

Each mover has a slightly different procedure to follow as it relates to high-value items.
Ask your relocation specialist to provide you with an explanation of their company's process.
This is a confusing (but important) task, so be sure that you clearly understand the rules
prior to load day.

Q How do I prepare my appliances for moving?

Appliances such as washers, dryers, and refrigerators must be disconnected, and the washer
must have a stabilizer installed. Again, your estimator can help you understand how these
items are properly serviced. All local moving companies have business relationships with
local service providers that handle this type of service, however full service moving
companies and national moving companies will also be able to provide all of the moving
services you require. Be sure you know who your mover will be using, as you will need to let
these people into your home to provide the service.
