So we work hard to provide the services that you need. Additionally, we offer packing services and material and a variety of services to make your move quick and efficient. We also specialize in senior moves.
LOCAL MOVES
Local moves are normally considered moves that are no greater than 50 miles in distance. These moves are calculated by the hour. We have a three or four hour minimum on all moves unless a flat rate is given based on the time of year. Peak season is usually from April – September at which time a four hour minimum is imposed. The hourly rate starts when we reach your door and continues, apart from breaks, until the completion of services, including the time spent driving between the loading site and the destination. We then add a truck/travel charge, which we specify at the time the job is booked. This charge takes into account the distance between the loading site and the destination.
LONG DISTANCE MOVES
Moves of over 50 miles are charged on a weight basis, and require a physical estimate to quote a price. We can give you some general idea of cost based on a phone survey, but keep in mind that in no case will such estimates be guaranteed without an on-site survey being performed.
NO-TRUCK MOVES
The hourly rates for these services do not start until we arrive at your door and there is a three or four hour minimum*. Additionally, there is a small surcharge for the travel to and from your location. Please ask about this surcharge at the time of booking.
PACKING/UNPACKING JOBS
In addition to our other services, we offer home and/or business packing/unpacking services. There is a three or four hour minimum* for this service and a surcharge for bringing out packing materials. Furthermore, you can purchase all of your packing supplies and moving boxes and materials directly from us.
MOVE OUT/MOVE IN CLEANING
We know that moving in itself is very stressful. Let us take some of the stress away by cleaning before you move into your new place or after you move out of your old place. Ask a representative about these services.
LOADING UNLOADING PODS/RENTAL TRUCKS
We also provide loading and unloading of rental trucks and pods, or self-storage units. Please ask a representative for more details.
