HISTORY

Owners David and Theresa Pratt started Moving Services Inc., located in Tucson in the mid-1980’s. They opened their second location, Huachuca Transfer, located in Huachuca City (Sierra Vista) about 10 years later to capture the military business at the local base. Moving Services Inc., is an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau and has A+ rating. David originally got into the moving and storage business when he and Theresa married. Theresa’s father and two of her siblings owned moving companies and agencies from different van lines and are still involved in running the businesses. Together they are the premier long distance and international military movers and agent for National Van Lines.

FACILITIES

The Tucson facility occupies a corner location with a large, 40,000 square ft., 3 high, military approved warehouse. In Huachuca City, the space is somewhat smaller with a 20,000 square. ft. military approved warehouse. Recently, Huachuca Transfer has been renamed Moving Services, Inc.

EXPERIENCE & FAMILY VALUES

The entire staff is experienced, knowledgeable and professional. In addition to their moving business, David and Theresa are also managing their pecan farm and, these days, are not as involved in the day to day operations. However, their moving company is in very good hands – David and Theresa’s children grew up in the moving industry and are all currently involved in the management of Moving Services Inc. Their daughter Annie manages the Huachuca City office, and their son Brandon manages the Tucson location. Both are very knowledgeable of the industry, sincere, capable and hardworking people. Previously an agent for Bekins Van Lines, but as of 2012 became an interstate household goods agent for National Van Lines. All with an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
