B&B Trucking, Inc. is a family-owned-and-operated company that’s backed by drivers—and built by drivers. Founded by Robert D. Keller in 1969, our roots in Kalamazoo, Michigan allowed us to start small but think big. Since then, we have established a solid reputation while staying true to our original values. And now, after nearly 50 years of carrying U.S Mail, our markets and workforce continue to grow. Today, we employ over 300 drivers and 50 support team members, who remain dedicated to success—and take pride in what we do.
At B&B Trucking, we never compromise on service quality. We’re inspired by hard work—and we’re rooted in tradition. That’s why we bring an engaged team of both supervisory and upper management personnel, all ready and willing to get behind the wheel. With every fleet and facility, we capitalize on the latest technology, leading to added safety and fuel efficiency. And should critical needs arise, we’ve established key relationships to repair our trucks and equipment at any point along each route.
Fleet
From real-time routing capabilities to 24/7 dispatch, we maintain a goal of continuous fleet improvement. This includes enhancing each truck with anti-idling devices, synthetic lubricants, crossover tire pressure balancers, trailer-tire pressure inflation systems, and more. Striving for fuel efficiency with every freight, we’re proud to be recognized as one of the Top 3 Green Fleets in the nation. Our safety standards meet and exceed all rules set forth by Federal, State, and local agencies, and our preventive maintenance measures certify every vehicle operates appropriately.
Facility
Built in 2000, our main terminal facility spans almost 10 square acres and is located less than two miles from I-94. With a 12-bay garage, enclosed automatic truck wash, 24-hour assistance, and mobile service trucks, we’re able to address every need. Offering an extensive parts inventory and full-service tire repair, our 20,600 square foot shop has the tools to tackle any problem. Plus, our shop currently recycles more then 60 percent of generated waste. Get an inside look at our high-tech facility now.
If you have young children it is a good idea to do the move while they are in school or
daycare. You will be busy with the movers and it will be difficult for you to give your
child the attention he/she needs. It’s a much less stressful day for you if you children
are not home on moving day.
This depends on many factors, such as the time of year, weather conditions, size of your
shipment, time required to load and unload, and the direction and distance your shipment
is traveling.
Because the furnishings of the average household will not fill a truck, it is often necessary
for two or more shipments to be loaded on the same truck. Each shipment is carefully
sectioned off from the others.
With the help of computer-assisted dispatching system, pickup and delivery dates
are scheduled according to the origins and destinations of individual shipments on the trucks,
as well as shipment weight.
