Mini Moves and More, Inc. was founded in late 2003 by Owner and President, Gregory Pavao, and later incorporated in 2005.

Greg started the company after graduating college and wanting to provide a better solution for people who didn’t need a larger moving company. Today, Mini Moves and More, Inc. offers an array of services that the larger companies were not able to provide due to their minimum charges. Greg worked for a local company during high school and college and noticed there was a need for a company that provided a fair price for a smaller move. When Greg started Mini Moves and More, Inc. his main goal was to help out people that needed jobs of all sizes, whether moving one piece across town or rearranging a living room.

With every job, Greg and and the team at Mini Moves and More, Inc. strive to earn your trust and to exceed your expectations by providing affordable, reliable, timely and professional moving services.

The business is family operated and every employee of the company is either a personal friend, a referral from a personal friend, or a relative of the owner. Most importantly, our trained movers are punctual, professional, presentable and personable.

Mini Moves and More, Inc.’s philosophy proved to be a success and we now have several trucks and a large crew of movers. We still maintain the same culture while providing our core service of moving “Across the Room” but we can now send out a whole crew to help you move “Across the State”.

Mini Moves and More, Inc. is based in Arlington, MA and we are proud of our commitment to the Arlington community which includes annual donations of time, labor, furniture and use of vehicles to local organizations serving the less fortunate, including: The Children’s Room, Arlington Housing, Somerville Homeless Coalition, Somerville Elderly Services and we regularly service several local Assisted Living communities.

Mini Moves and More, Inc. is also fully licensed and insured.

Mini Moves and More, Inc. offers local and interstate residential and commercial moving services. Whether you are down-sizing and moving into a cozy two-bedroom apartment, upgrading to a larger home, perhaps moving into Assisted Living, or re-finishing your floors and need furniture moved temporarily, we will help you.

If you are renovating, adding living space to your home, or simply rearranging a room, we can service your moving needs.

We have the ability to come to your home and hoist a piece of furniture to the second floor, or send a four-man crew to relocate your four-bedroom house. There are no jobs too big or too small for Mini Moves and More, Inc.

Mini Moves and More, Inc. operates:

For our local moves, we operate Monday through Saturday.
Morning start time is generally between 8:00-9:00 a.m.
Afternoon start time is generally between 12:00 -1:00 p.m.
Saturday moves incur an increased rate, per man/per hour, as outlined on the Pricing page.
Occasionally, Sunday/Holiday move dates are available at a higher hourly rate.
We bill by the half hour – our rates are affordable and competitive with no hidden extras.

Don’t be disappointed – book your move as far in advance as possible. Summertime is our busiest season. Saturdays and the first and last days of each month are busy year round. The least busy days fall in the middle of the week, in the middle of the month.

­Mini Moves and More Inc. provides storage vaults to our customers via a monthly rate outlined on our rates page. ­Each wooden vault contains 245 cubic feet of available space and is 7 feet tall, 7 feet long and 5 feet wide.

Storage Terms and Conditions:

We charge a monthly rate for each storage vault
One month minimum
­No setup fees
­Includes furniture being wrapped in professional moving quilts
­We charge an additional rate per over-sized ­item, per month (individual items that won’t fit safely in a vault, they will be stored in a separate area in our warehouse).
­We require 24 hour notice if you need access your items.
­Weekends (require 48 hours notice)
­We charge an additional rate for one Mini Move worker to work with you while you access the vaults, with a one hour minimum.
­Our warehouse is kept between 60-­80 degrees and is under 24 hour video surveillance.
­Additional coverage can be purchased for added protection of your belongings.
­$100 per year, receives up too $25,000 of replacement cost or depreciated cash value
­Failure to pay within 30 days may result in loss of property*

Q How is the cost of my shipment calculated?

If you are moving to a different state, the charges will be based on the weight of your
shipment and mileage—these are referred to as the transportation charges.
There are a variety of different moving charges that can potentially appear on your estimate,
so be sure to ask your relocation specialist to explain each charge for you.
Some additional charges that may appear include packing, crating, valuation or coverage,
bulky article charge (for oversized items), and extra labor. Again, please be certain you
fully understand these charges so that you can accurately compare the estimates you receive.

Q What is an order for service?

All movers are required to prepare an order for service before they transport your shipment.
The order for service provides you with written confirmation of the moving services that you
requested to be performed in conjunction with your shipment. It also lists the agreed upon
dates for the pickup and delivery of your shipment and amount of valuation that you requested,
along with any special services that you ordered.
It also features a place and telephone number where the mover can contact you during the move.

Additionally, the order for service shows the charges that you will be assessed for your
household move or corporate relocation. If you are moving under a non-binding estimate,
the order for service will indicate the amount of the estimated non-binding charges,
the method of payment for the charges and, in cases where the actual charges exceed the
non-binding estimate, the maximum amount that you are required to pay at the time of delivery
in order to obtain possession of your shipment (you will have 30 days following delivery to
pay the balance of the charges due). If you are moving under a binding estimate,
the order for service will show the charges that you will be required to pay at delivery,
based on the binding estimate and the terms of payment. You and your mover must sign the
order for service.
