Jet Expedited Transport was founded in 1977 when Lee Johnson purchased Jet Airfreight, located in the back of an Arco gas station in Salem, OR. After the purchase, he immediately moved the company headquarters to Portland, OR. Lee’s vision for Jet was to be known for quality service and on-time schedules while providing a positive work environment for its employees.
In 1979 Jet expanded to Eugene, OR, where we became the primary carrier for Hewlett Packard in Corvallis. That same year saw Jet move into a new 10,000 square foot warehouse and purchase our first new tractor and trailer.

IMPORTS
Jet Expedited Transport operates as a Container Freight Station (CFS) at our Portland and Seattle locations. We provide discounted delivery services for shipments clearing out of these facilities.
