About us
What we do
Sea & Air strives to simplify worldwide relocation, by being the best international movers. Moving and shipping household goods, fine art and antiques, offices, commercial entities, and logistical support can be stressful, but it doesn’t have to be when we are involved.
Who We Are
We are an experienced team that believes in providing quality international moving experience by cherishing our client’s belongings as if it was our own. From our office staff, to our team of international movers, we are here to help you every step of the way.
How We Work
We provide an end to end service ensuring your move is smooth. From providing an estimate of your move size; to professionally packing your belongings at the origin; to shipping it by sea or air; to its final destination; to safely unpacking everything at your new home.
Our Track Record
Since 2001 Sea & Air has been there to meet the many needs of the global community that mobilizes in and around the New York metropolitan area. We served more than 20,000 customers in more than 50 countries. From the beginning, we have worked with private individuals, governments, and corporations. We also conducted the world’s largest private international move from Upstate, NY to a Chateau in the South of France. In addition to household moves, we also have the privilege of relocating fine arts.
Sea & Air gives back
We believe in giving back to our local community. Annual Coat Drive
For five years Sea & Air alongside Halstead Reality, has collected and distributed 17,500 coats to New York City’s most vulnerable during the winter
Move for Hunger
In a recent partnership with Move for Hunger, Sea & Air is now collecting and distributing unwanted nonperishable items from clients.
Household Move
Sea & Air exists on the basis of making worldwide relocation simple with our international moving services. Our office staff will coordinate a survey of the items from your home that you intend to ship, provide a quote, and schedule the move date that works for you. We will walk you through the process of an international move by guiding you through the documentation, moving process and creating a seamless connection between the origin of your goods through to its destination.
Corporate Move
Sea & Air understands that when your employees relocate they leave one office on a Friday, and walk into the new one the following Monday. We understand how important it is to provide a positive international move experience for your employee and your corporation. Our Consultants will coordinate with your company’s Human Resources department on all aspects of the moving process. We are able to provide international moving services that allow for the seamless movement of your employee’s belongings. We will take care of all aspects of their move, and your employee can settle into their new home.
Fine Arts & Antiques Move
With experience in packing, crating, and shipping anything from a singular ceramic plate, to an entire collection ranging from thousands to millions of dollars, Sea & Air is proud of its *0.28% claim rate since inception. The time and quality of our crews are what entrust individuals, art galleries, and prominent auction houses to recommend and use our services for international handling and shipping of said goods.
Storage Solutions
Our storage solutions allow for your goods to be properly stored in our secure warehouse facility in Secaucus, NJ. Whether it’s home goods, office furniture, or corporate goods, Sea & Air is there to provide the support that you need for a seamless experience.
If you are moving to a different state, the charges will be based on the weight of your
shipment and mileage—these are referred to as the transportation charges.
There are a variety of different moving charges that can potentially appear on your estimate,
so be sure to ask your relocation specialist to explain each charge for you.
Some additional charges that may appear include packing, crating, valuation or coverage,
bulky article charge (for oversized items), and extra labor. Again, please be certain you
fully understand these charges so that you can accurately compare the estimates you receive.
All movers are required to prepare an order for service before they transport your shipment.
The order for service provides you with written confirmation of the moving services that you
requested to be performed in conjunction with your shipment. It also lists the agreed upon
dates for the pickup and delivery of your shipment and amount of valuation that you requested,
along with any special services that you ordered.
It also features a place and telephone number where the mover can contact you during the move.
Additionally, the order for service shows the charges that you will be assessed for your
household move or corporate relocation. If you are moving under a non-binding estimate,
the order for service will indicate the amount of the estimated non-binding charges,
the method of payment for the charges and, in cases where the actual charges exceed the
non-binding estimate, the maximum amount that you are required to pay at the time of delivery
in order to obtain possession of your shipment (you will have 30 days following delivery to
pay the balance of the charges due). If you are moving under a binding estimate,
the order for service will show the charges that you will be required to pay at delivery,
based on the binding estimate and the terms of payment. You and your mover must sign the
order for service.
