Local Moving
A Local move is a relocation within your own state, but usually out of your county. Preparations are generally the same as those for a Long Distance Move, but in most Local Moves, you should plan on spending at least one night away from either home.

Long-Distance Moving
Moving out-of-state requires detailed planning. Your key to success is to be familiar with every aspect of the move, and to manage those elements over which you have control. The responsibilities of the Long Distance move are a shared experience, into which you, your family and Morrissey’s Moving Company will put the best efforts to make it a success. Morrissey Moving Company will even move you into and out of the houses and buildings with no elevator. Five flights of stairs is no problem for our team!

Commercial & Office Moving
Normally commercial moving involves relocation of used office furniture, computers, copiers, boxed items, and sometimes fine executive furniture. On a commercial move, the movers will be primarily moving desks, file cabinets, chairs and partitions on dollies. These furnishings are bed-loaded (not stacked) on the truck and padded there. This approach is used to expedite the job and keep the customer’s costs down.

Full-Service Packing & Unpacking
We emphasize to our customers that proper packing is crucial to facilitating the best move possible with a minimum chance for damages. Our packers are well-trained and very careful with our customer’s belongings.
