GET Storage is a local, family-owned company located in Longview, Texas. GET Storage was founded by Noah Yoder. As owner and operator of Noah’s Construction for over 30 years, Noah built over 500 commercial buildings in East Texas. In 2014, Noah built the GET Storage building located at Hollybrook and Alpine in Longview.
Our goal is to provide clean, secure, economical storage for individuals and businesses in East Texas. All storage units are indoor and climate controlled.
Our name—GET Storage—means Greater East Texas Storage. We strive to be the very best storage option in Longview and the surrounding area. One way of accomplishing that goal is that we are the first storage company to offer online rental of storage units.
We understand that you store property because it is valuable and you want to keep it. So we take security seriously. Our 5½-inch thick concrete building is constantly monitored by cameras. Individual storage units have steel doors secured by an individual locking system. You can access your property 24/7 using our security keypad.

That’s what outdoor, non-climate-controlled storage units are like.
Glass items can usually withstand these conditions. Everything else needs climate control. That’s especially true in East Texas, where we have searing hot summers, high humidity, and occasionally, raw winter cold.
Our storage units are kept between 60 and 80 degrees to prevent damage from temperature extremes and humidity. All units are indoors for to protect against dirt, pests, and water damage.

But when you place items in storage, it’s because they are are valuable and important to you. You want them to be safe and secure.

External storage lockers can be an easy target for thieves. That’s why all our storage units are inside our concrete building—5½-inch thick concrete! And with an indoor storage unit, you never have to worry about damage from external dirt or flooding.
How long does it take to move?
This depends on many factors, such as the time of year, weather conditions, size of your
shipment, time required to load and unload, and the direction and distance your shipment
is traveling.
Because the furnishings of the average household will not fill a truck, it is often necessary
for two or more shipments to be loaded on the same truck. Each shipment is carefully
sectioned off from the others.
With the help of computer-assisted dispatching system, pickup and delivery dates
are scheduled according to the origins and destinations of individual shipments on the trucks,
as well as shipment weight.

Contact your move coordinator as soon as you can if your move dates have changed.
