Founded in 1905 as Gerold Moving & Warehousing Co, it was originally owned and operated by the Gerold Family.

Gerold began in East St. Louis, Illinois. In the early 1960’s the Crawford Family purchased the company and then relocated the operation to Belleville, IL.
Gerold Moving and Warehousing Co has been moving families and businesses for over 100 years and will continue as the third generation of the Crawford Family continues with this tradition.

Gerold Moving & Warehousing Company offers long and short term storage options. Our warehouse can accommodate a variety of storage items. Upholstered furniture is shrink wrapped for added protection.

Our military qualified warehouse has the most up to date alarm systems. Our off-site 24 hour monitoring system ensures quick response to any emergency. We are proud of our facilities and welcome customers to visit and take a tour.

Over the years, Gerold Moving & Warehousing Company and their expert personnel have become known for our ability to move items requiring special handling and equipment. We have the resources to handle most any move of equipment and material for our clients both locally or to another state.

We specialize in any type of safe from a large jewelers safe to a small gun safe. We also have equipment to move hot tubs and large items unable to be loaded into normal vehicles.
