THE COMPANY
As a boy, Bob Boyce was always fascinated with trucks. This lead to a lifetime desire that culminated in the start of Boyce’s Moving Service in 1976.
Starting with one truck and a lot of determination, Bob believed in his dream and made it happen. Year after year, he continued to service the community and grow the business. Not once, however, has he allowed the company get too big to treat his customers like a good neighbor.
Through the years, and thousands of commercial and residential moves, while making as many friends along the way, Bob has always prided himself on keeping employees who are experienced, polite, and understanding of the moving experience. Moving can be stressful and he always wants to help you through it.
Now, Boyce’s Moving Service, LLC is a full service company, offering almost any moving option you can think of – pianos, wall units, spas, you name it. Seventy percent of our current business is repeat customers.

Packing/Crating: Residential, Commercial – We will ensure your complete satisfaction
Loading and unloading your rental truck: Have a truck full of furniture but no way to unload? Call us, our men will be there. We will also load an empty truck you are taking elsewhere.
Boxes for Sale: If we are doing your move, we can most likely sell you once-used boxes for a lot less than retail. Ask us about our inventory.
Available 7 days a week: Have to be out on Sunday by midnight? We are available 24/7 – no extra charge..
On the day of the move you need to be present. There is paperwork to sign and you need to
show the movers exactly what is being moved. After the movers have loaded the truck you will
be ask to do a walk through. That is the time to point out anything that may have been missed
once the truck drives away they are done.
At the unload they will place boxes in rooms based on the rooms written on the boxes
(ie., bedroom, kitchen, garage). Furniture will be placed in the location you specify.
It is helpful if you already have a basic idea where you want furniture placed.
If the movers have to keep rearranging and switching furniture around it will take longer
and you are paying hourly.
You want to make sure animals are in their cat/dog carrier prior to the movers arriving.
Animals are curious and can get underfoot. If your dog isn’t good around strangers please
have them tied up or in their carrier. The moving company cannot transport any live animal
no dogs, cats, fish or reptiles are allowed in the truck.
