Aloha International Moving Services (AIMS) was founded in 1995 by several investors with extensive experience in the international moving services industry. We started small but we dreamed big – hoping to one day grow into Hawaii’s best and most trusted moving company.
Today, we employ over 100 employees – a group of dedicated sales consultants, warehouse personnel, certified drivers, moving crew, and administrative professionals who put personalized service and years of moving experience to work for you. Based in Kapolei, our warehouse is highly secure and offers 1,200,000 cubic feet of storage.
Our growth can be attributed to our investment in equipment, warehouses, training and technology, and our innovative approach to systems and logistics. Our continued success is due to our experienced employees, our trading partners, a strong financial position and a bit of luck.
We are one of only two moving companies in Hawaii admitted into the Federation Internationale des Demenageurs Internationaux (FIDI), the global organization of international moving companies. We are also recognized as a FIDI Accredited International Mover (FAIM), an accreditation held by only 57 international moving companies within the United States.
Hawaii International Movers
International moves can be the most challenging move of all. There are so many steps to consider when moving to another country and the coordination and execution of those steps can feel very overwhelming.
Since 1995, we’ve been at the forefront of international moves – working closely with top international and local moving companies to ensure the success of your move. In 2018, we helped transport residential, business, and military customers to 20 different countries.
Local Moving Company
We are your local moving company on Oahu. Our team has experience with every kind of local move: condos, apartments, houses, military, and many more.
In 2018, we drove over 220,000 miles moving our customers on Oahu. We have a fleet of trucks, flatbeds, and vans that can handle both small and large moves, regardless of complexity or location.
For the past 25 years, Aloha International Moving Services has helped people move across the Oahu and we look forward to putting our experience and resources to work for you.
You will observe our professionals pack, wrap, and load your prized possessions. The containers will be sealed and secured at your residence. We use industry best practices and local knowledge to determine packing, scheduling, and coordinating the safe delivery and unpacking of your possessions at your new home.
Hawaii Business Movers
We understand that business moves tend to involve several moving parts, intense timelines, and the need to coordinate multiple groups of busy people to execute.
Over the years we’ve learned that no two business moves are alike and each move has a unique set of needs, challenges, and requirements that need to be accounted for. We are here to help you think through and plan for every detail, option, and possibility of moving your business.
From printers and copiers to servers and computers – we use industry best practices and local knowledge to determine logistics, packing, scheduling, and coordinating safe delivery to your new office.
We will disassemble, securely pack, and inventory at your current location and then transport, unpack and reassemble at your new location.
We can also assist with short-term and long-term storage options should you require delivery at an earlier or later date. Our Kapolei warehouse is highly secure and offers 1,200,000 cubic feet of storage.
If you are receiving a non-binding estimate, the charges that your mover assesses on your
shipment must be based on the actual weight of the shipment. Your mover may not lawfully
assess transportation charges on shipments with non-binding estimates on cubic feet, volume,
time (hourly) or on any basis other than weight. Also, the federal regulations require that
shipment weights must be determined on a state certified scale with a copy of the weigh
master’s tickets provided to you in support of the final invoice.
The busiest times for moving companies are typically during the summer months, May-September.
If you are planning a move during that time you should make arrangements early.
Friday and Saturdays are big moving days so if you have flexibility in your schedule it can
be easier to get a date during the week rather than a weekend.
